Kyler Murray removes all mention of Cardinals from social media
Nothing signals there is trouble in paradise quite like erasing someone from your social media accounts.
That is why sports fans are feeling shocked after Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray scrubbed his social media accounts of everything relating to the organization that employs him.
After representing the Cardinals in Sunday's Pro Bowl, Murray unfollowed the team on both Instagram and Twitter and removed all team-related photos from his own social media accounts.
Sure, Arizona's season spiraled out of control and ended with a loss to the Super Bowl-bound Los Angeles Rams during wild-card weekend, but that doesn't explain why the former Heisman Trophy winner would remove all mention of the only NFL team he has ever played for from his social media accounts.
Murray's maneuver is also interesting given he is eligible for a contract extension this offseason. While neither the QB nor the team has hinted at there being any tension, this behavior certainly suggests Murray is unhappy about something.
The Cardinals' social media accounts, on the other hand, still make mention of Murray in wake of this bizarre turn of events.
