Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams clearly got it from his mama. The Rams player’s mom went viral Sunday for outmuscling a fan who tried to ruin a heartwarming moment between parent and son.

Williams was the star of the show for the Rams during their 26-25 win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The second-year running back rushed for 87 yards with three touchdowns on 20 carries.

Williams celebrated his third touchdown by handing the game ball to his mother waiting near the end zone. But a Giants fan, who was probably oblivious to their mother-son relationship, tried to wrestle the football for himself.

The Notre Dame alum tried to sway the Giants fan to let go of the football. But Williams’ mom didn’t need any help crushing the man in 1-on-1 coverage. She executed a textbook strip to steal away the TD ball.

The 9-7 Rams’ win clinched a playoff berth later in the day after the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Given how well Williams’ mom did against the man in a Saquon Barkley jersey, Sean McVay may want to give her a call if he needs an additional run stopper for the postseason.
