Lamar Jackson spotted wearing protective sleeve on right arm
Lamar Jackson put up an electric, historic display during the Baltimore Ravens' Week 2 game against the Miami Dolphins, going 21-for-29 with 318 passing yards and three touchdowns, while adding nine carries for 119 yards and another score on the ground. Thanks to a beleaguered secondary and a furious late comeback spearheaded by Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, however, the Ravens lost in dramatic fashion, 42-38.
Early Wednesday afternoon during practice, Jackson was seen sporting a protective sleeve on his throwing arm, which, of course, prompted mass speculation on whether the former MVP had gotten injured on Sunday.
ABC Baltimore's Shawn Stepner had further details on the play in question, where Jackson could've gotten hurt.
The Ravens will travel to take on the New England Patriots in Week 3 at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
