When he played his first few games for the Las Vegas Raiders, fans immediately threw the “bust” tag on Tyree Wilson. First, that isn’t fair to any player in their first season, let alone the first few games. Secondly, that wasn’t fair to Wilson, because he didn’t have a full offseason, as he was injured.

We saw him get better as the year went on, as the Raiders realized they could move him inside on obvious passing downs. And, he became better and better in the run game. So, that alone tells us that he just needed time.

Now, he has had a full offseason. And, he has been working with Maxx Crosby all offseason. From what we have already seen this offseason, it could get scary.

Wilson hasn’t even had training camp yet, and he has already transformed his body to look much more cut. He was already a guy that was absolutely ripped and strong as an ox. Now, he looks even stronger.

Wilson looks huge. He looks like he is being set up to have a nice offseason. And, what usually happens when you have a good offseason? Most of the time that translates to a good season.

The Raiders are going to have a great defensive line in 2024 with Wilkins, Crosby, Koonce, and Wilson. And, no, Wilson cannot play defensive tackle full time.
