Las Vegas, Nev. – The 2022 Pro Bowlers have a practice at Allegiant Stadium, and Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs spoke with the media. Talking about several topics, most notably, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

With the Pro Bowl contest just hours away, participating players gathered at the home of the Silver and Black to get in sync. As the practice for the AFC team began, Raiders running back Josh Jacobs stood behind to answer more questions.

Jacobs touched on things such as the growth of football across the globe, becoming a team captain later in the season, and other potential quarterbacks for the Raiders in 2023 – most notably, Rodgers.

Before things concluded, I asked Jacobs how he felt about the buzz around Rodgers possibly becoming a Raider. He quickly smiled and started things off by saying, “I love Aaron Rodgers.”

“I’m just a fan of his game if you want me to be honest,” Jacobs continued. “It’s only a few – not a few – it’s a handful of guys that I feel like just got my respect, and it’s a handful of guys that I feel like when I see them, I’m like, ‘Ok, I’m witnessing greatness right now.’ And he’s one of them guys.”

It wasn’t just that Jacobs stated he feels like he’s “witnessing greatness” when watching Rodgers, but the 2022 first-team All-Pro went on to explain why he feels that way.

“Just the way he goes about playing; You know he’s a dog, he doesn’t give up on plays or anything like that,” Jacobs added. “I see the way he back-shoulder throws a lot. A lot of things, even just watching ‘Tae film of how he worked with ‘Tae.”

At the end of his statement, Jacobs concluded with another smile. He did so as he noted Aaron Rodgers to the Raiders would “definitely be a good add” in his eyes.
