The Steelers have signed defensive lineman Logan Lee and offensive lineman Mason McCormick to their rookie contracts, marking the first entry-level contracts signed by members of the 2024 NFL Draft class.

Financial terms remained undisclosed from the team on both deals.

McCormick was chosen with the 119th overall selection in the fourth round of the draft in April as a project piece for the interior of the offensive line. Both Nate Herbig and James Daniels are entering the final years of their contracts, and McCormick adds depth at both guards and center. McCormick is a natural left guard but has experience playing on the right side.

McCormick stood out at the NFL Combine with the second-highest score for athleticism among all guards, per NFL Next Gen Stats, after he ran a 5.08-second 40-yard dash, jumped 35.5 inches vertically and recorded a 9-foot-9 broad jump.

The Steelers selected Lee with the 178th overall pick in the sixth round to help shore up depth along the defensive line. He did not miss a game in his three seasons as a starter at Iowa. His selection marked the sixth consecutive draft in which the Steelers took a defensive lineman. In 2023, the Steelers chose Keeanu Benton in the second round. In 2022, they took DeMarvin Leal in the third.
