Lions' Dan Campbell and T.J. Hockenson team up for wholesome moment with young fan

Head coach Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions have a ton of buzz heading into this season.

Sure, the Lions only won three games in Campbell's inaugural campaign in Detroit and first ever season as a head coach, but his team fought hard and there's little doubting the fact that he's an incredible motivator and leader.

He's also apparently a really good person, or at the very least, he seems to understand that part of rebuilding the culture in Detroit is taking care of the Lions' long-suffering fanbase.

That's exactly what Campbell did in a viral video coming out of Detroit's training camp. The head coach, as big as intimidating as he can look as a former NFL tight end, was meeting with young fans when one specifically asked Campbell if he could pass on a message to tight end T.J. Hockenson.

"Can you tell T.J. Hockenson I said hi?" the young fan asked.

Campbell said he would do so and asked his name.

It could have ended there with an empty promise and with a lot of famous athletes and coaches it may have, but not with Campbell.

Detroit's head coach literally wrote the fan's name down on his hand with a marker, and the video ended with a shoutout from Hockenson to young Logan.

Who would have thought that hope for humanity would have come out of Lions' training camp?
