Lions WR Kenny Golladay out vs. Packers with hamstring injury

Detroit Lions fans will have to wait longer to see wide receiver Kenny Golladay make his season debut.

After the 26-year-old missed last Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, the Lions announced on Friday that he won't attempt to play through the hamstring injury he suffered in practice over a week ago when the Lions travel to battle the Green Bay Packers this weekend.

Without Golladay in the lineup against Chicago, Danny Amendola and T.J. Hockenson tied for a team-high five catches in the losing effort. Hockenson found the end zone, and Marvin Jones Jr. tallied four receptions on eight targets.

Golladay led the Lions in catches (65), receiving yards (1,190), receiving scores (11) and receiving yards after catch (301) for the 2019 campaign.
