With another heartbreaking loss, Packer fans tend to take some time to grieve, sometimes we need to look at the bright side of things, thus we’re looking towards the Packers future.

Yes, the Packers lost in an unbelievable battle against the 49ers that came down to one big play.

The Packers though have nothing to be ashamed of.

They put up a battle, one that could’ve gone the Packers way.

But let’s put things into perspective.

The Packers future looks bright.

The Packers at the beginning of the 2023 season the Packers had a first year starting Quarterback in Jordan Love.

Love was leading the youngest team into the season.

That looks like something that almost looks like a recipe for disaster.

For example, it’s almost like you’re a freshman in college having to take a senior level class.

Yes, there were some bumps in the road but by the end of the season there the Packers were 9-8.

They were one game better than last year and in the postseason for the first time since 2021.

Packers Future on Offense

For Love, he’ll learn from his mistakes, that Interception at the game did cost the team.

But the fact he threw over 30 touchdowns and won his first postseason game in his first year says a lot.

Look around the team.

The young Wide receivers will be ether their second or third year.

The tight ends will have a year under their belt.

The offensive line seems solid without David Bakhtiari.

Bakhtiari will probably be the biggest question on offense heading into the offseason.

The Packers will have to decide to stick with Bakhtiari or do they think the offensive line is ok with Zach Tom and Rasheed Walker as their tackles.

Defense

On defense there are more questions.

Do the Packers retain Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry or go another route?

Do the Packers cut ties with DeVondre Campbell or Darnell Savage?

The defense for the last couple of games performed much better after their near disastrous game in Carolina.

But the question is whether or not that was enough?

The defense though has some bright spots.

The performance of Carrington Valentine and Corey Ballantine was pretty good without Jaire Alexander in the lineup.

Both will continue to grow with experience.

2022 first round picks Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt both shined this year and look to continued their play next season.

Conclusion

At the beginning of the year I talked about having patience on this young team.

Although there were some growing pains, it looks like that patience has payed off.

The Packers future looks bright, with more time the team will continue to develop.

As the season comes to a close I want to still let fans know, patience is the key.

Someday that patience will pay off in a Super Bowl victory.
