The Los Angeles Chargers are a tough read. With Jim Harbaugh at the helm, that should surprise nobody. That being said, they hold important cards in round one of the 2024 NFL Draft.

New Chargers GM Joe Hortiz will take full responsibility for draft picks, too.

The executive also explained how Los Angeles truly controls the first round of this year's draft. Other teams must come to them if they want to move up past the first four picks, and he thinks that all four of those could be quarterbacks.

Accordingly, the Chargers are in the driver's seat for every non-QB talent in the draft.

"If four quarterbacks go, we believe, strongly, that we have the first pick in the draft. What are teams willing to give us?" -- Chargers GM Joe Hortiz

Hortiz has shown that he won't hold back on getting the team what they need. They will not settle in the first round. Rather, they will either take the prospect they prefer most or get a "King's ransom" in a trade back scenario.
