Well we knew this was coming. Marcus Peters paid homage to Mashawn Lynch at the end of the Monday Night Football game between the Los Angeles Rams and Oakland Raiders, and now he’s being docked some pay for the gesture.

After taking a Derek Carr interception to the house late in the fourth quarter, he leaped into the end zone, facing the field, and grabbed his crotch.

In the least surprising news this week, the NFL has fined Peters $13,000 for doing it.

Somehow, I’m guessing Peters isn’t losing any sleep over it.

Of course, it helps that the Rams put on a second-half show to beat down the Raiders in their own building, winning their season opener by the score of 33-13.
