One of Chicago's gems is The Wiener's Circle. Known for its hostile hospitality and delicious food, the infamous hot dog stand has climbed the ranks of Chicago's establishments. It's also a popular place to catch many celebrities when they are in town. In the past year, Ed Sheeran has served hot dogs there. Additionally, Jason, Kelce, Andrew Whitworth, and Marshawn Lynch made an appearance there for a Thursday Night Football segment during the 2023 NFL season.

On Saturday, The Wiener's Circle took things to another level. Famous EDM artists Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH (combined to be Mellodeath) had a concert scheduled for Saturday night at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom. According to Marshmello's social media channels, the DJ planned to host a pop-up merch shop at The Wiener's Circle during the day. But on Saturday afternoon, a DJ booth appeared on The Wiener Circle's roof and both artists confirmed an appearance for 4 PM CT.

Sure enough, hundreds if not thousands of people lined both sides of Clark Street looking at the roof of the joint around 4 PM. The famous marquee read "2 wieners r better than 1 Mellodeath." At four on the dot, the two legends walked out and hopped on a lift to get on the roof.

Marshmello and SVDDEN DEATH greeted the crowd before diving into their set. They played a variety of music that got the crowd head bobbing and arm waving the entire time. The music vibrated the whole street, shaking the glass of The Wiener's Circle and setting off car alarms. It was like Lollapalooza got moved to the intersection.

After adjusting the speakers a couple of times, the crew cut the show for whatever reason. The 20-minute set and was still a memorable experience, and The Wiener's Circle now has another notch in its belt.
