Matt Nagy will resume calling plays for Bears in 2021

Matt Nagy is back in business.

The Chicago Bears head coach said during a Friday press conference that he will call plays in 2021, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune.

Nagy called the offensive plays before handing over play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Bill Lazor in November 2020. The Bears finished second in the NFC North (8-8) with Lazor calling plays.

The Bears made the playoffs twice in three seasons under Nagy, though they have never made it past the wild-card round.
