This season was a true coming-out party for Las Vegas Raiders star defensive lineman Maxx Crosby. While Crosby had already proven that he was one of the best linemen the NFL had to offer, it seemed like the 2023 season was when the rest of the football world took notice as to just how unstoppable he is.

Someone else who apparently took notice was NBA icon Michael Jordan and the people over at Team Jordan. While primarily a basketball brand, Team Jordan also has representation on the football field, including Cam Jordan and Crosby’s Raiders teammate Davante Adams.

And now Crosby finds himself as the latest edition to the Team Jordan Brand as he revealed he accomplished a long-standing dream by signing with them on the latest edition of The Rush with Maxx Crosby podcast via Aidan Champion of Sports Illustrated:

“I mean, literally, since Day 1, I’ve been manifesting it,” Crosby said on the podcast. “I didn’t want to be with anybody else, I’ve always wanted to be with Jordan. They’ve got 14 guys in the league.

“I think I was with CJ [LaBoy], it was like right after the season, and CJ called me and he was like: ‘Yo, we need to talk.’ And I’m like: ‘I’m like oh [expletive], what’s going on here? What happened?’

“And he immediately was like: ‘Bro, Jordan wants you, bro.’ So, he said Cliff — shoutout to Cliff King from Jordan, the man — he gave me a call as well, but they have their names, they got to send it to Michael [Jordan], and Michael picked the boy. And it’s a [expletive] dream come true, bro.

“I’ve been wanting to be with them since Day 1.”

It is always great for a dream to come true, and in this case, for Crosby, something he has been manifesting for a long time has finally come to fruition. The Raiders star also revealed that he was able to go to a Team Jordan dinner that included some other NFL stars and legends:

“I mean, Honey Badger [Tyrann Mathieu], obviously Cam Jordan, lot of big dogs in there,” Crosby said. “And there was Dwight Freeney, as well. I got to chop it up with him, which was dope.”

One thing that is for sure is that this won’t affect the work Crosby puts in to be the absolute best at his position and lead the Raiders to success. There is no doubt he will represent Team Jordan extremely well.

Raiders’ Maxx Crosby bids farewell to Josh Jacobs on social media

Unfortunately for Crosby, one of his closest friends on the Raiders will no longer be with him as running back Josh Jacobs signed a deal with the Green Bay Packers. The two came into the league together with the Raiders drafting both in 2019 and the star defender bid farewell to Jacobs on social media.

Crosby called Jacobs his brother while adding that nothing changes between them aside from the jersey Jacobs is now wearing.
