Things are looking up for the Denver Broncos.

Having new owners could inject more excitement into the franchise.

But away from the business side of the game, the Broncos have built a roster that is ready to compete with the league’s best.

If only they had a quarterback that could lead them over the hump.

They got that this offseason in Russell Wilson, who has led the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory.

He looks to do the same result for the Broncos who haven’t reached the postseason since winning Super Bowl 50.

Aside from Wilson, the coaching change from Vic Fangio to Nathaniel Hackett is already working wonders for the squad even if the season hasn’t started.

His ingenuity on offense will help unleash this underperforming unit.

More importantly, his enthusiasm is infectious.

In his recent appearance on Good Morning Football, running back Melvin Gordon III said about Hackett, “He brings a different kind of energy to the practice facility, to everything. You’re excited to go to work now.”

That energy can recharge everyone from players to the coaches and front office personnel.

It’s the same energy that turned the Green Bay Packers into one of the best offenses.

This time, he would like to do the same with the Broncos.

Hackett Already Has His Player’s Trust

That excitement to go to work that Gordon shared helps foster better communication between player and coach.

It also boosts the player’s drive to compete.

Hackett has the knowledge to turn the Broncos’ offense into an elite unit.

They’ve had the talent for years but lacked the guidance that will inspire them to do better.

If Hackett has the Broncos playing inspired football, they would be tough to beat.

The defense might call for mercy because they have weapons on every snap.
