The Miami Dolphins managed to get an exciting young linebacker to bolster their defense in Jordyn Brooks. The former young star who was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks decided to take his talents to South Beach and win with Mike McDaniel, Tua Tagovailoa, and Tyreek Hill.

The newest member of the Dolphins was also asked about what he thought of the team, and his words suggest that he’s looking forward to playing a team that has the potential to stand atop the AFC East and make the Super Bowl.

Jordyn Brooks believes the Miami Dolphins have the potential to grow even further in 2024

Brooks was interviewed by David Furones and Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel and had nothing but great words to say about the organization:

Brooks signed with the Dolphins, a team he feels is on the rise after back-to-back playoff appearances, on Thursday after initially agreeing to terms Monday evening as free-agent negotiations began across the NFL.

“There was a few other teams. I feel like it was the best situation as far as being on a winning team,” Brooks said Thursday. “A team that I felt was trending upward, and a team that I felt could use my services and play me at linebacker.”

He also raved about the opportunity to play with one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in Jalen Ramsey:

“Everybody knows about him, great football player. Also a man of faith from what I can see,” Brooks said. “I think he’s a tremendous football player that I’ve watched and played against and now to get to play with, so I’m excited for this opportunity.”

How will Jordyn Brooks fare with the Dolphins?

Jordyn Brooks will add an immediate impact to the Miami Dolphins defense when the 2024 season officially gets underway,

During his final season in Seattle, Brooks managed to score 111 tackles, 62 of them being solo efforts. He also scored 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery for eight yards, four pass deflections, and one interception that went for 12 yards and a touchdown.
