Per Over The Cap, the Dolphins are over $38 million in the red with a few weeks to go before free agency. The Dolphins cap concerns have analysts thinking the team could trade quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and/or wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill said this week he wants both to stay in Miami for the 2024 season.

The Dolphins are set to release Emmanuel Ogbah
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Dolphins intend to release veteran linebacker Emmanuel Ogbah on Friday. Ogbah signed a four-year deal with $65 million following the 2021 season.
Ogbah won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs
However, injuries plagued Ogbah in the first year of that deal. He finished the 2022 campaign on injured reserve due to a ruptured triceps he suffered in Week 9. Ogbah finished the 2023 regular season with 19 total tackles, five sacks, and one interception.
Ogbah, who is from Nigeria, won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2019 season.
Would the Chiefs be interested in trying to lure Ogbah back to Kansas City?
