Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy made it clear on Thursday: you won’t find a bigger fan of Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano fan than him.

“Let me give Mr. Milano his flowers,” Bieniemy said. “He is a beast. I am a fan of his. Over the years we've played, I can't speak enough volumes for him because first of all, he probably doesn't get the respect that he should."

Milano is set to lead the Bills defense into FedEx Field on Sunday to take on Washington. And while most offenses have to stress about handling a player of his caliber, Bieniemy seems almost … excited?

“I'm a huge fan of Mr. Milano, and they need to give him his respect because he's just a hell of a player,” Bieniemy said. “I love what he brings to the table. He's a guy that plays hard, he's a physical player in the run game and on top of that he can cover. And then when it's all said and done, he's going to find a way to make a play.

Milano has gotten off to an impressive start this season. Through the first two weeks, he’s already posted 12 tackles and two interceptions.

Commanders quarterback Sam Howell will need to keep tabs on Milano each play. The one-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler is versatile in pass coverage and in the trenches. In his seven-year career, Milano has tallied 10 interceptions and 10.5 sacks.

The Commanders will look to stay undefeated by pulling off the upset over Milano and the Bills on Sunday at FedEx Field. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.
