New San Francisco 49ers linebacker De'Vondre Campbell doesn't want you judging his potential based on his recent time with the Green Bay Packers. Last week, Campbell took to Instagram to express his belief that the Packers "badly misused" him during his three seasons in Green Bay.

In his debut season with the Packers, Campbell amassed a career-high 146 tackles, earning him first-team All-Pro honors in 2021. Additionally, he notched two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two sacks in 16 games.

However, Campbell's production declined in subsequent seasons. In 2022, he appeared in 13 games, recording 96 tackles. Last season, his tackle count dropped further to 75 in 11 games. Campbell's performance was hindered by injuries, including a knee injury that sidelined him for four games in 2022 and ankle and neck issues last season.

Campbell achieved an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 85.0 in 2021, marking a career high. That mark plummeted to 65.1 this past season. Campbell is determined to showcase the caliber of play he exhibited in 2021, aiming to dispel any lingering doubts about his abilities.

Initially, the 49ers reached an agreement with Eric Kendricks to fill in for a recovering Dre Greenlaw, the team's star linebacker who sustained a torn Achilles during last month's Super Bowl defeat. However, Kendricks backed out of the agreement, opting to sign with the Dallas Cowboys instead.

With Kendricks out of the picture, Campbell is poised to step in for Greenlaw during the upcoming season.
