The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans organizations have entered a 3-year agreement with sports software company EngageRM.

According to the company's website, it's an "Australian-owned company using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technology to empower our clients in sports, entertainment, media, and government verticals."

In the days of sports analytics and data science, the New Orleans franchises are taking an important step by integrating artificial intelligence into its business operations.

How will this help the New Orleans professional franchises?

EngageRM focuses on connecting sports clubs with their fanbase to increase social engagement, brand loyalty, market share, and revenue.

From the Press Announcement

The partnership with the Saints represents EngageRM's first move into the NFL, while the Pelicans expand on EngageRM's growing presence in the NBA. The team joins a growing list of NBA clients, including the Milwaukee Bucks, LA Lakers, and LA Clippers.

The EngageRM solution, native to Microsoft Dynamics 365, will work seamlessly within the New Orleans organizations' technology ecosystems to enhance capability and connect datapoints across their businesses.

Rich Barbier, Vice President of Consumer Insights and Analytics at the Saints and Pelicans, is delighted to be joining forces with the CRM leader.

"We're proud to partner with the team from EngageRM. Their platform is a leader in sports technology and will strengthen connections with our passionate fans and partners," said Barbier.

"The capability and power of the platform are significant, and we look forward to leveraging EngageRM to create experiences that boost the quality of our engagement."

"The Saints and Pelicans are a dominant force in their respective leagues, with both organizations boasting an exceptional global fanbase,' said Tim Barber, Chief Commercial Officer at EngageRM.

"It is thrilling to join forces with Rich and his team to deliver amazing digital experiences and help them connect with their supporters in new ways."

Forbes ranks the New Orleans Pelicans at No. 30 for NBA teams with a valuation of $1.6B. The New Orleans Saints are at No. 26 in the NFL with a team value of $3.58B. Forbes magazine performed calculations for all the sports teams in August of 2022.

A partnership with EngageRM will strategically allow the New Orleans franchises to increase the brands' market value and recognition via engagement with the current and new fanbase.
