The New Orleans Saints could draft another interior defensive lineman early in the 2024 NFL Draft. Khalen Saunders is a veteran player who will need to contribute next year.

Saunders made a strong statement, albeit a bit funny, on social media the past weekend.

The Saints DL says that he will go to the UFL, the newest football league, to play running back when he retires from the NFL.

The UFL just began. They began playing in March of 2024.

The league was created following the XFL–USFL merger.

Many fun and exciting plays have gone viral over the past week of play from the UFL. It's clear that many football fans are tuning in to watch former college football and NFL players battle each other.

Saunders would be a great RB option in the UFL following his final year in the pros. He'd probably just want to be used as an elite red zone option for that new team, too. We will see if he will actually play in the newly-branded league once he stops playing in the NFL.

The Saints have used him in the backfield before. He also made some grabs in high school back in the day, too.
