The New Orleans Saints had a kicker problem in the first half of last season. Then rookie Blake Grupe was inconsistent. Then, he turned it around in the second half of the season.

During the final eight games of the year, Grupe was one of the most efficient boots in the NFL. Regardless, they are not limiting competition at the position during the 2024 offseason.

The Saints are hosting Irish kicker Charlie Smyth for a workout.

Smyth clearly has quite the leg. He's known for hitting long attempts, and the Saints could use an upgrade on that top of kicking.

He's set to visit the Saints facility on Thursday, March 28th.

Keep an eye out on the Saints as a landing spot for Smyth.
