Sometimes, sports and music blend together - exiting their own little worlds. That was the case this week. Many athletes chimed in on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake disses. If you've been a rap fan over the last decade, you know they're both well.

For the New Orleans Saints, wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed dropped a simple message on social media regarding the two's "beef" going on right now.

Shaheed is siding with Kendrick Lamar, seemingly.

The discourse has been going on for over a month now. USA TODAY provided a concise breakdown of the latest releases.

The rappers released dueling diss tracks Friday night, trading barbs about gossip and Ozempic, while also levying serious allegations of abuse, addiction and another hidden child. Drake took aim at Lamar's back-to-back diss tracks "Euphoria" and "6:16 in LA"with "Family Matters" and its corresponding lyric video and interlude just before midnight Friday. About 37 minutes later, Lamar had his response: "Meet the Grahams." -- Anika Reed

You can find all of their disses via their YouTube channels. As of now, the Saints young playmaker has his preference.
