Following Thursday’s loss, New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen has been busy churning the bottom of the roster.

Two players just let go of by the team were offensive lineman Devery Hamilton and defensive back Trenton Thompson.

The reason for letting these two go is because of the reinforcements the Giants are expected to get this week.

New York Giants should get key starters back this week:

A few of the top players set to return shortly are edge defender, Azeez Ojulari, rookie right tackle Evan Neal, tight end Daniel Bellinger, and left guard, Ben Bredeson. Certainly, a few players with the potential to make a difference for this football team. Something the Giants need desperately right now.

Still, sitting at 7-4, the Giants have exceeded the highest of expectations for the year. That being said, they have raised the bar so fast under Brian Daboll that it would be ideal to finish the 2022 season off strong.

Particularly, getting Ojulari and Neal back on the edges of both lines can pay huge dividends for this struggling football team at the moment. Coming off of two losses, the first losing streak in the Daboll era, we will get to find out what this team has over its final six games of the year.
