New York Giants’ tight end, Darren Waller, has finally opened up about his future in the Big Apple.

Following a season plagued by injuries that limited him to just 12 games, Waller discussed the possibility of returning for his ninth NFL season in a conversation with Gene Clemons, as reported by Doug Rush on Twitter.

“I have not decided yet.”

Despite his injury-riddled season, Waller expressed confidence in his physical health for the upcoming season and his ability to maintain a high level of play if he chooses to remain with the Giants.

He emphasized that he still has much to contribute to any team, especially if he can steer clear of the injuries that hampered him in the past season.

Meanwhile, speculation swirls around the Giants regarding their potential selection of a new quarterback in the upcoming draft. This speculation intensified after team owner John Mara authorized the front office to pursue a new quarterback this offseason.

Despite Daniel Jones signing a lucrative $160 million contract in 2023, his performance regressed in the subsequent year, prompting concerns within the organization.

With the No. 6 pick in the draft, the New York Giants are poised to capitalize on the quarterback-rich class, providing them with ample opportunity to secure a promising quarterback prospect as they aim to fortify the team’s future.
