The New York Jets are open to traded back in the 2024 draft in order to acquire more picks.

Via Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, the Jets would like to slide down from No. 10 in round one in a trade with a team. The interest might be higher for a team trying to get one of the top quarterback options in this years draft.

The Jets have signed multiple veteran free agents in order to fill the holes on their roster for next year, so “future” picks might be of higher interest instead of drafting a day one starter for the 2024 season.

Who will trade with the New York Jets?

Currently, three teams that likely are looking for quarterbacks land immediately behind the Jets — the Vikings at No. 11, the Broncos at No. 12, and the Raiders at No. 13.

All three teams are publicly interested in drafting a quarterback and each of them may be in competition to make sure they get their guy.

There is some chatter on how early in the draft these teams have to move up to get their prospect. Last week the Arizona Cardinals entered the conversation for landing spots for potential trade candidates. The Chargers and the Bears (9th overall selection) have also been in question for areas to move up.

Only time will tell if these teams can make a move and where exactly they want to go, or give up, in order to draft their quarterback of the future.
