NFL adding more social justice messaging in 2021

The NFL is adding more social justice messaging during games in the upcoming 2021 season, per Front Office Sports.

The league's plan to promote social justice includes on-field signage and decals on players' helmets, as well as in-stadium videos and PSAs.

Additionally, the NFL also plans to make “Lift Every Voice and Sing” a focal point of pregame festivities for major games such as NFL Kickoff on Sept. 9 between the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys.

These additions to the season are all part of the NFL's 10-year, $250 million commitment to combat systemic racism. Efforts began last season and included on-field signage.
