NFL divisional round: Two Sunday touchdown parlay plays
We tend to focus on touchdown straights around here, but for Sunday's action, we were thinking a pair of two-leg TD parlay bets might be just the ticket for the games on hand.
Our thinking is that we're drawn to a few guys with less-than-exciting odds around +100 to +130. So, we combine the reads for the Tampa Bay-Detroit and Kansas City-Buffalo games into a pair of plays. Go lighter on these looks, .25u to .5u recommended.
Amon-Ra St. Brown & Mike Evans TDs (+350 ESPN)
You see, this one is a bit chalky, which is why it just seems more exciting to combine. Both secondaries in this game have some serious vulnerabilities, and the passing games should find success on both ends.
As such, we load up the two top receivers in this game who have combined for 23 touchdowns this season. Sound good? Terrific!
Isiah Pacheco & James Cook TDs (+456 ESPN)
Alternatively, the clearer area of interest in this AFC showdown on Sunday is in the run game. Both pass defenses have been among the NFL's best this year, but each side ranks inside the top-10 for most yards allowed per rush.
If the Chiefs and Bills can move the ball down the field, we're intrigued in the two lead backs finding the end zone. Both Pacheco and Cook are averaging 4.6+ yards per carry on the season, authoring some incredibly efficient seasons.
Pacheco has 61 red zone looks and nine touchdowns this season. Cook has 42 red zone looks and six scores.
OK, and sure, we did sprinkle just a bit on all four of these guys scoring at +2406 on ESPN, in case you were curious. Good luck this weekend!
