This spring, dozens of prospects from the Group of Five are looking to boost their chances of a professional football career with strong performances at their respective Pro Days. One prospect in the Sun Belt who appears to have done that on Monday is Georgia State offensive lineman Travis Glover.

Glover is a five-year starter at Georgia State who put in significant time at both tackles spots, as well as guard, during his time with the Panthers. He was a First-Team All-Sun Belt selection in 2023 and participated in both the Hula Bowl and the Senior Bowl.

Jim Nagy, Executive Director of the Senior Bowl, praised Glover's Pro Day performance on X, stating "scouts we spoke with were impressed with how serious Glover has approached his pre-draft process."

Nagy also noted that Glover had spoken with representatives from the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Atlanta Falcons during his Pro Day.

While Glover was not invited to February's NFL Combine, he has apparently been working out profusely, reportedly down 15 pounds from his 323-pound weight he was listed at during the season. He

"Teams looking to draft developmental swing tackle with toughness and make-it physical traits will be targeting Glover in Rounds 6-7. File this deep sleeper away for draft weekend," Nagy concluded.

Georgia State have had three players selected in the NFL Draft in their history. Their most recent one was wide receiver Robert Davis in 2017.

The 2024 NFL Draft begins April 25 in Detroit and runs through Saturday, April 27.
