NFL fans were excited about Tuesday’s report on former Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby. The Packers decided to move on from Crosby this past offseason when they drafted Anders Carlson. Crosby worked out with a few teams this summer but has been unable to find employment this season.

Many Packers fans have hoped for a reunion in Green Bay. Crosby was a fan favorite for the Packers. However, the Packers are doing well with Carlson, who is 15/19 on field goal kicks through Week 12.

Reports came out Tuesday the New Orleans Saints invited Crosby and a few other kickers to work out for a potential roster spot this week. The Saints and Atlanta Falcons sit atop the NFC South division with a 5-6 record.
