NFL flexes Week 13 Chiefs-Broncos matchup to 'Sunday Night Football'

The NFL announced its first scheduling change on Tuesday, as Week 13's "Sunday Night Football" edition will now feature a pair of AFC West squads instead of the original plan to showcase two NFC West teams.

The Chiefs currently lead a very close AFC West race with a 7-4 mark. The Los Angeles Chargers are in second place at 6-4, while the Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders are tied at 5-5.

The Broncos, Chargers and Raiders have all had their bye weeks already, while the Chiefs are on bye in Week 12.

In the NFC West, the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams are appearing to make it a two-team race at 9-2 and 7-3, respectively. However, the Cardinals have already defeated the Rams this season, so even if the Rams were to move to 8-3 during Arizona's bye in Week 12, coach Kliff Kingsbury's squad would still essentially hold a two-game edge.

The San Francisco 49ers, meanwhile, have won two in a row to even their record to 5-5, while the Seahawks have lost two straight, despite having starting quarterback Russell Wilson back in the lineup, and are 3-7.
