NFL futures bets: An early look at our favorite Super Bowl 2025 winners

Super Bowl LVIII is in the books, congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on the win! While both the 49ers and Chiefs are the favorites for next season, there is no fun in going there with our early futures looks on next year's NFL champ.

Here's a look down the board at three teams worth investing in now. Odds courtesy of DraftKings.

Green Bay Packers (+2000)

When we consider the NFL futures market, we'd recommend focusing a bit more of your attention on the NFC side. The AFC is packed with quality quarterbacks, which muddies the water a bit when trying to look down the line for value teams worth backing.

The same cannot be said for the NFC, which makes it an exciting one to invest some funds in. We're drawn to Green Bay here after they arguably should have been in the NFC Championship Game this past season.

Jordan Love grew into the part at quarterback, looking to be an above-average starter with room for further growth. That was the best-case scenario for the Packers, and seeing as he's surrounded by young talent, Green Bay has room to play here.

Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft are all on their rookie deals, and the Packers defense has strong performers left and right.

Another year of development should make this an exciting offense to follow in 2024, and their recent draft record should be trusted as we consider future pieces this front office is set to add.

Houston Texans (+2200)

This past year was a massive success for Houston. DeMeco Ryans proved to be one of the league's best young coaches in his first year at the helm, and the Texans knocked the draft out of the park.

The Texans got their guy in C.J. Stroud, who already looks the part of a future NFL MVP and one of the league's best quarterbacks. Nailing the QB is the most important thing a franchise can do, and getting the right player is even more important when you can do it early. The Offensive Rookie of the Year figures to only get better, with the coaching staff all retained, and on his rookie contract, they can continue building the team around him with quality pieces in the trenches and on defense.

Stroud proved he can elevate the offense, and his leading WR tandem of Nico Collins and Tank Dell are both young, dynamic and growing alongside their QB.

Factor in that the defense also has the 2023 Defensive Rookie of the Year in Will Anderson, and this team's future is looking bright.

According to Spotrac, Houston has the fourth-most cap space to work with this coming season. Expect them to be busy in free agency to build a Super Bowl contender around their star quarterback.

Los Angeles Rams (+3500)

The Rams got surprisingly strong play from a lot of young, unproven players on both ends of the football. Puka Nacua on offense was a revelation, and the offensive line was better than anticipated.

Scores of unknown defensive players stepped up into big roles, and young DT Kobie Turner, a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year, figures to take a big leap alongside Aaron Donald to form a menacing defensive line group next year.

Matthew Stafford is still here, fresh off a season that shows he's still in his prime, and Sean McVay at coach is always going to keep this team in play.

Similarly to our logic on Green Bay, the NFC remains relatively wide open. In the NFC West, Seattle is going through a year of transition, San Francisco could always find themselves in a hangover season after making the Super Bowl this year, and Arizona could be another year away.

The Rams played the Lions tight this past postseason and seem set to be a playoff team again in 2024.
