Over the years, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has garnered considerable acclaim for his daring and proactive approach, particularly evident in his strategies during the NFL Draft.

Roseman isn’t one to simply sit back and hope for the best; he’s known for taking decisive action to shape the team’s future.

That’s precisely why NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah doesn’t envision Roseman maintaining status quo at the No. 22 pick this time around.

In a conversation with John Clark, Jeremiah asserted that it’s highly unlikely Roseman will stay put, suggesting a 70% likelihood of him trading up and a 30% chance of moving down in the draft order.

Regardless of the direction he takes, Jeremiah believes Roseman will target one of the standout cornerbacks from Alabama.

To secure his preferred choice, Roseman might need to maneuver up to the 14th or 15th pick to acquire Terrion Arnold or consider sliding back a few spots for a shot at Kool-Aid McKinstry.

This projection doesn’t come as a surprise given the Eagles’ vulnerability in the secondary defense last season, particularly evident in the later stages. Both Arnold and McKinstry are seen as potential NFL-ready defenders capable of bolstering the team’s defense.

Furthermore, with the appointment of Vic Fangio, a highly regarded defensive mind, as the new defensive coordinator under head coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles appear poised to address their defensive shortcomings. With a robust offensive lineup already in place, focusing on strengthening the defense seems like a logical move.

While the exact player destined for Philadelphia remains uncertain, it’s clear that Roseman is poised to make a decisive move come draft day.
