NFL players after Chiefs-Patriots game gets postponed: 'Wear a mask'

The NFL postponed the Titans-Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday after 16 members within the Tennessee organization tested positive for the coronavirus. They had to do the same for the New England Patriots- Kansas City Chiefs matchup after both Cam Newton and Jordan Ta'amu tested positive for their respective clubs.

With the Titans experiencing an outbreak and the possibility of the Patriots and Chiefs to also experience a similar fate, players across the NFL had one simple message to relay:

The NFL now is faced with questions about how to proceed with the remainder of the season. Protocols could become more strict, but Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports that the league is willing to put teams in hotels for the remainder of the season in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.

The bubble format has worked tremendously with the NHL and NBA. However, but it'll be difficult to house entire NFL teams in hotels for the remainder of the football season. While it might seem impossible, the league needs to figure out something moving forward, or the season will be in jeopardy.
