The Detroit Lions will be getting back to work very soon with offseason training programs. We now know the dates of when these programs will start. That will be April 15th. This is phase one and that phase consists of team meetings only.

Phase two will be OTA's and offseason workout and that will happen over the course of three weeks.

  • Week one will be May 21-23,
  • Week two will be May 29-31
  • Week three will be June 10-12

Then there will be a mandatory mini camp held on June 4-6.

Teams can work out and run drills during this time, but there is no contact and no pads. All players must be present for the mandatory mini camp. There will also be a rookie mini camp right after the draft.
