NFL 'SNF' Week 10: Two touchdown bets for Raiders vs. Jets
The New York Jets will play on primetime for the second straight week, this time against the Las Vegas Raiders on "Sunday Night Football." Is it the best matchup to close out our NFL Sunday? Not by a long shot. But can we make it watchable by throwing down some anytime touchdown scorer bets? You know it.
Davante Adams (+220 FanDuel)
It's not often you get anytime touchdown value on a player like Adams, but here we are. The veteran wide receiver's TD odds are so high because he hasn't found the end zone since Week 3, and rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell is now throwing him the ball. O'Connell hasn't been especially dynamic as a thrower, but one thing he does do is pepper Adams with targets.
In two starts this season, O'Connell has targeted Adams 20 total times. This is a stingy Jets secondary, but Adams will once again be the focal point of Las Vegas' passing offense. A +220 price is too good to pass up.
Tyler Conklin (+475 DraftKings)
Conklin hasn't found the end zone yet this season, but his time is coming soon. The tight end has been targeted three times inside the 10-yard line this season, which is the second-highest mark on the team behind only Garrett Wilson's five.
Conklin is coming off his best game of the season in which he recorded season-high marks in targets (six), catches (six) and receiving yards (66). This is a solid price on a player trending upward right now.
