NFL 'SNF' Week 12: Two player props for Chargers vs. Ravens

This week's "Sunday Night Football" matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens should be a fun one, but we can make it even more entertaining by having some action on the game. Here are the two player props we're targeting for "SNF" Week 12.

Justin Herbert over 13.5 rushing yards (-114 FanDuel)

Justin Herbert isn't normally thought of as a running quarterback, but the 25-year-old has been taking off and scrambling more than usual lately. Herbert has gone over this rushing line in three straight games, capped out by a season-high 73 in last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The Ravens lead the NFL with 44 sacks this season, and they're one of the best teams in the league at generating pressure. This should be a pass-happy game plan for the Chargers, so Herbert will be on the run when the pass protection breaks down. He hasn't hesitated to scramble in recent weeks and won't in this game, either.

Rashod Bateman under 26.5 receiving yards (-114 FD)

This was supposed to be a breakout campaign for Rashod Bateman, but it hasn't exactly panned out that way. The third-year wide receiver has gone over 26.5 receiving yards just four times in 10 starts this season. He has three or fewer targets in eight of those games.

Bateman just isn't a focal point of this Ravens offense, and with Odell Beckham Jr. starting to see more action, he's dropping even further down the pecking order. The Chargers have a terrible pass defense, yes, but this matchup should favor Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely more than it will Bateman.
