Lane Johnson got into WrestleMania shape for his appearance this weekend.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle made a shock appearance during the first night of the event. On Night One, he appeared alongside Travis Kelce during a tag team match. He ran in to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar, with the pair donning Mysterio’s luchador masks for the occasion.

They later revealed themselves to be the two football legends, much to the delight of the hometown crowd.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Lane Johnson revealed that he dropped 15 pounds to be in shape for WrestleMania.

“Man, I lost probably 15 lbs [for WrestleMania 40], because we had to take our shirts off so it would look better. I knew about it for two weeks, so i had two weeks to cut the carbs out and lose the QB jacket.”

Pat McAfee then asked Lane Johnson what he did after his WrestleMania appearance, to which he replied:

“I had a night last night, I’m back on track.”

Lane Johnson Was Part Of The Most Watched WrestleMania Ever

Lane Johnson’s appearance helped WrestleMania 40 become Peacock’s biggest event ever.

Joe Otterson of Variety reports that WrestleMania 40 is the most-streamed entertainment event ever on Peacock. Per Otterson, the two-night event was viewed for a total of 1.3 billion minutes. The report notes that, based on the average minute audience, night one viewership was up 26% compared to last year, and night two was up 30%.

WWE previously announced that WrestleMania 40 was their most successful event in history, as it broke several records.
