NFL Week 15 injury report
There were several key injuries in Week 14, but the new week brings hope for several teams. Here's the latest injury news heading into Week 15.
Landon Collins, S, Giants
Collins aggravated his left ankle injury on Sunday, and didn't practice on Wednesday. His status for this week is questionable.
Amari Cooper, WR, Raiders
Cooper left Sunday's game early after aggravating his high-ankle sprain and didn't practice on Wednesday. After the setback, he seems questionable for this week's game, at best.
Carlos Dunlap, DE, Bengals
Dunlap was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday after leaving Sunday's game with a chest injury.
Mario Edwards Jr., DE, Raiders
Edwards left in the first quarter of Sunday's game with an ankle injury and sat out practice on Wednesday. He's questionable for this week.
Davon House, CB, Packers
House was diagnosed with a transverse process fracture in his back after leaving Sunday's game. The good news is that he doesn't need surgery and could return later this season.
Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints
Kamara was concussed in Thursday's game, but he was able to practice on Wednesday and said he will return this week.
Taylor Lewan, LT, Titans
An MRI on Lewan's back was negative after leaving Sunday's game, and he was able to practice on Wednesday. He should play this week unless he has a setback.
Byron Marshall, RB, Redskins
Marshall was placed on injured reserve after pulling his hamstring on Sunday. His season is over.
Josh McCown, QB, Jets
McCown fractured his non-throwing hand on Sunday and will miss the remainder of the season. Bryce Petty will start for the Jets this week.
Gerald McCoy, DT, Buccaneers
McCoy injured his biceps on Sunday, but he's hoping to play through the injury during the season's final three games.
Eljah McGuire, RB, Jets
McGuire sat out practice on Wednesday after leaving Sunday's game with an ankle injury. He's questionable for this week's game.
Nathan Peterman, QB, Bills
Peterman is in the concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game. Regardless, the Bills expect Tyrod Taylor to return from injury this week.
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers
Rodgers has been cleared medically after missing two months with a fractured collarbone and is expected to play this week at Carolina.
Riley Reiff, OT, Vikings
Reiff was in a walking boot after Sunday's game due to an ankle injury and sat out practice on Wednesday. His status for this week is unclear.
Tom Savage, QB, Texans
Savage is in the concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game with a scary concussion. He seems unlikely to play this week, leaving T.J. Yates as the starter.
Tyrod Taylor, QB, Bills
Taylor missed Sunday's snow bowl with a knee injury, but he was able to practice on Wednesday and will return this week.
Kenny Vaccaro, S, Saints
Vaccaro was limited in practice on Wednesday after leaving last week's game with a groin injury. His status for this week is unclear.
Bobby Wagner, LB, Seahawks
Wagner left Sunday's game with a hamstring injury and is expected to be a game-time decision against the Rams this week.
Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles
Tests confirmed a torn ACL for Wentz, and he underwent season-ending surgery on Wednesday. His recovery time is 9-12 months, putting his status in question for the start of 2018. Nick Foles will start for the Eagles the rest of the way.
Trent Williams, LT, Redskins
Williams continues to fight through a knee injury, and sat out Wednesday's practice. His status for this week's game is unknown.
Robert Woods, WR, Rams
Woods missed nearly a month with a shoulder injury, but head coach Sean McVay said he expects the wideout to return vs. the Seahawks this week.
K.J. Wright, LB, Seahawks
Wright left Sunday's game with a concussion, but the Seahawks sound optimistic that he will play vs. the Rams this week.
