The NFLPA released the report cards of all thirty-two teams earlier this week with the Carolina Panthers ranking 17th overall.

1,706 players across the league participated in the survey, providing feedback on a variety of categories such as treatment of families, locker room, weight room, nutrition, ownership, and more.

Here are the Panthers' grades for each of the eleven categories via the NFLPA's website.

The NFLPA cited the playing surface at Bank of America Stadium as one of main reasons why ownership received such a low grade.

"The major issue bringing down the team grade comes from the responding players’ belief that club owner David Tepper is not willing to invest the necessary money into the facilities. The number one example is the field surface in their stadium, with ownership deciding to change from natural grass to synthetic turf in 2021. When asked this season, 100% of the player respondents in Carolina said that they would prefer to play on grass than turf. It is a major frustration within the locker room feeling like they are being forced to play on a surface that is not as safe, simply because it is cheaper to maintain."

Not only is the turf cheaper to maintain but it also makes it much easier for concerts and other events to be held at the stadium which is something Tepper is proud of.

Aside from concerns with the playing surface and some issues with other facilities, the Panthers fared reasonably well.
