CINCINNATI — New Bengals safety Nick Scott has made sure not to rub in his Super Bowl win over the Bengals last February. Scott appeared on Up & Adams this week and discussed how he's handled the slightly "awkward" situation with teammates.

"It started out a little awkward. I'll say this. I never brought up the Super Bowl. Some of my teammates did and they wanted to talk about it," Scott told Kay Adams. "So to each their own, some guys don't talk about it, some guys do, but it's all good."

The former Ram has been working his way into the defensive brain trust since joining the team this past spring. Scott revealed veteran safety Mike Thomas asked about the experience.

"We were sitting at dinner with the DBs," Scott said. "There was a little bit of a silence after a conversation and Mike just broke the silence. He said, 'Nick, I gotta ask like, how to how did it feel?' Yeah, so I wasn't gonna bring it up. But it was one of the best days of my life."

Now, Scott goes for the rare distinction of winning a Super Bowl with a team you've beaten in the Super Bowl.
