Now with the Jets, Aaron Rodgers continues to own the Bears

Aaron Rodgers hasn't been a member of the Green Bay Packers for almost a year now. Sure, he didn't get to play much this season for the New York Jets, but in enthusiasm, rooting interest and certainly allegiance — he's all Jets all the time.

As strange as it has been to get used to — especially for Packers fans — Rodgers fully backs the team with a different shade of great in 2024 and for the foreseeable future.

His leaving the NFC North this past summer was supposed to mark the end of a reign of terror for rest of the conference, but fans of the Chicago Bears had to be especially to say "sayonara" to the four-time MVP.

He owned the Bears on the field, and he let them know it. 

Now with the Jets, it's funny (outside of Chicago) to see that Rodgers still holds a grudge against the Bears. Talking to his friend Pat McAfee during his weekly segment on McAfee's show, Rodgers was asked about his former team's upcoming game against Chicago.

"It's the Super Bowl for the Bears just about every year. This is their Super Bowl," Rodgers said.

Rodgers brought up the fact that Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur is 9-0 in his career against the Bears.

"Is it a rivalry anymore?" Rodgers asked. "If they can't beat us, is it a rivalry?"
