For the second consecutive day, all 52 players on the Green Bay Packers’ active roster practiced on Thursday.

With the Packers (2-5) getting ready to host the Los Angeles Rams (3-5), they will take a mostly healthy roster into Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field.

The only noteworthy mention from the portion of practice open to reporters was running back Aaron Jones once again wearing a red jersey. That’s the jersey color worn by the quarterbacks and indicates they are hands off for defensive players.

“He probably didn’t even need it on, to be honest with you, but you’ve just got to be cautious with everything with him moving around,” running backs coach Ben Sirmans said. “Especially in pads, you just don’t want anybody pulling him around because it could take just one sudden movement that could re-aggravate it. Right now, he’s in a good spot, so it’s better not to take any chances.”

Jones suffered a hamstring in the season-opening victory over Chicago, then missed three of the next four games.

The Packers have been incredibly cautious with one of their top playmakers.

Jones played a season-high 35 snaps in Sunday’s 24-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and matched his season high with 11 touches. He still hasn’t had more than nine carries in a game.

Last year, when Jones played all 17 games, he averaged 37.1 snaps, 16.0 touches and 12.5 carries per game.

At Wednesday’s practice, Jones, cornerback Jaire Alexander (back), left guard Elgton Jenkins (knee), offensive tackle Yosh Nijman (foot) and tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) were limited participation. All five were back on the practice field on Thursday.

After Musgrave suffered an ankle injury during the fourth quarter at Denver, he missed the first two practices last week but practiced on Friday, started against the Vikings and caught two passes while playing 49 snaps.

“Luke is really tough. I don’t think I learned that last week; you could see that,” tight ends coach John Dunn said. “You talk about an unselfish guy. Worked his tail off to get back for his team. It speaks a lot to him. I didn’t learn that last week. Obviously, being together for the first time and going through the fire for the first time, you learn things at different points, but just his mental toughness. He is a tough, tough kid. Meant a lot to him to get back.”

This story will be updated after Thursday’s practice, with the official injury reports and comments from coach Matt LaFleur.

For now, here are Wednesday’s injury reports, which included big news out of Los Angeles.
