Packers 'seething' that teams have been tampering with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers made himself the focus on the NFL offseason when reports surfaced that he wants out of Green Bay. The three-time MVP has generated interest from all around the league, to the point that the Packers feel that several other teams have violated the rules of tampering due to their public interest in Rodgers.

"Those inside the [Packers'] building are seething right now because they believe other teams have been tampering with Rodgers," ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky said on "Get Up." "The violations are obvious. You cannot talk about players in press conferences that are on other teams and talk about pursuing them. The 49ers have done that, there's [an] indication that maybe the Broncos were involved."

The 49ers have made almost no effort to hide their interest in Rodgers, while the Broncos are believed to be among the teams willing to pay whatever it takes should he become available.

Despite the belief that tampering has occurred, Demovsky said that the Packers "have not filed tampering chargers yet" because of how difficult it is to prove it to the league. Green Bay knows this from experience, as the team filed charges in 2008 in regard to Brett Favre, but those were ultimately dismissed by the league.
