Packers still have one big need on offense. Here's how they can address it in 2024 NFL Draft

The Green Bay Packers head into the 2024 NFL Draft with plenty going for them.

On offense, quarterback Jordan Love seemed to develop into a top-10 NFL quarterback in the second half of 2023 and he's got a plethora of young weapons to work with — including, now, 26-year-old All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs.

Defensively, the Packers shored up their biggest need by signing potential All-Pro Xavier McKinney away from the New York Giants. They also brought in a new voice, Jeff Hafley, who is expected to operate a much more aggressive scheme.

Yes, things are lining up for the Packers to make multiple attempts at the Super Bowl over the next few seasons, but that doesn't mean Green Bay doesn't have needs heading into the draft.

The starting offensive line, at the top of that list, is now down guard Jon Runyan Jr., tackle Yosh Nijman and former all-pro left tackle David Bakhtiari.

The Packers have some solid options currently on the roster in Sean Rhyan at right guard and Rasheed Walker at left tackle, but guard and tackle are positions where the Packers could undoubtedly use depth. If they can use a first- or second-round draft pick on an upgrade at those positions? Even better.

The Ringer suggests in its new 2024 NFL Draft Team Needs Guide that the Packers use the 25th overall pick in the draft on Duke tackle Graham Barton or Georgia tackle Amarius Mims.

At 6-foot-5 and 314 pounds, Barton was a second-team All-American as well as a first-team All-ACC player last year

Mims is even bigger at 6-foot-7 and 340 pounds. He was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award, which goes to the best offensive lineman in college football yearly.

Whichever path the Packers choose, going with one of those two big offensive linemen would be a safe bet.
