Pacman Jones throws shade at Bills QB Josh Allen

It’s no secret that Adam “Pacman” Jones has never had an issue speaking his mind.

So when he was asked his opinion of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on a recent episode of “Smash & Dash,” a podcast hosted by former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson and LenDale White, Jones had no issue going all-in on dragging Allen through the mud.

“All y’all riding Josh Allen’s tail right now; he’s probably got another two or three years and that s--- is going to slow down,” Jones said. “The only reason we’re talking about josh Allen right now is because of his feet — it’s definitely not his arm because he had six throws last week that was late. …When he come out of college, what was his M.O.? What would they say he couldn’t do? He was what? Inaccurate. How many quarterbacks do they say is inaccurate that all of a sudden get accurate? Not many.”

To Jones’ point, Allen did struggle with accuracy his first two seasons in the NFL, finishing with completion percentages of 52.8 and 58.8, respectively. But over the last three seasons, he’s had a collective completion percentage of 65.7, including a career-high 69.2 in 2020 — fourth-best in the NFL that season.

Jones also wasn’t shy about his belief that the Cincinnati Bengals would beat the Bills in their AFC divisional round matchup Sunday at Highmark Stadium or that Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow is a better quarterback than Allen.

Burrow finished the regular season ranked sixth in passing yards (4,611) and eighth in touchdown passes (34), while Allen was seventh in the NFL in touchdowns (36) and eighth in yards (4,407).

Cincinnati and Buffalo were supposed to play one another in Week 17 but the game was canceled after Damar Hamlin collapsed due to cardiac arrest in the first half. Sunday’s matchup will be their first of the season.
