Carolina Panthers GM Scott Fitterer had a pretty active Monday, adjusting the back end of the 53-man roster as well as the practice squad

Moments ago, he filled the final spot on the practice squad by signing linebacker Deion Jones, who spent the tail end of training camp with the team and saw some preseason action.

Jones spent six seasons in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons where he recorded 652 tackles, 46 tackles for loss, 44 pass breakups, 20 QB hits, 11 interceptions, 8.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. He spent the 2022 season with the Cleveland Browns where he posted 44 tackles, six tackles for loss, three QB hits, and 2.5 sacks in 11 games (five starts).
