With Brian Burns traded to the New York Giants, the Carolina Panthers are looking for answers for the pass rusher.

Thursday marks a monumental day, in that regard.

The Panthers are set to meet with three proven pass rushers in Jadeveon Clowney, Chase Young and D.J. Wonnum, The Athletic Panthers insider Joseph Person reported

Clowney is coming off a resurgent year with the Baltimore Ravens, where he collected 43 tackles and 9.5 sacks.

Young has never lived up to his first-round talent billing during his NFL career. However, he did prove consequential to a San Francisco 49ers team that made the Super Bowl.

His best season came in his rookie year with the Washington Commanders. Young racked up 44 tackles and 7.5 sacks.

As for Wonnum, he is still recovering from a partially torn quad, which may influence the Panthers' decision to sign him or not.

Injuries for every one of the pass rushers the Panthers are visiting with Thursday are a factor.

Young hasn't been the same player since tearing up his knee. Before that moment, he was a Pro Bowler and named the Defensive Rookie of the Year. He hasn't reached the same heights since.

Clowney had his struggles with health in Cleveland, but those stayed away for the most part in Baltimore.

What is clear, however, is Dan Morgan knows his work isn't done to improve the Panthers' pass rusher. Still, time will tell if any of Thursday's visits pan out for the better moving forward.
