Wednesday afternoon, the Carolina Panthers brought in a new cornerback, Robert Rochell, signing him to the practice squad.

Rochell, a former 2021 fourth-round draft pick out of Central Arkansas, recently spent time on the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad. He played the first two years of his career in Los Angeles with the Rams, spending a season with Panthers' defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero.

In 28 career games (five starts), Rochell has tallied 19 tackles, four pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, and an interception.

As a corresponding move, the Panthers released Mark Milton from the practice squad.
