Congratulations to Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. The first family of the NFL announced Friday that they are expecting another baby. And you can call it a three-peat.

It means that Sterling and Bronze will get a new baby brother or sister sometime at the end of football season as the Chiefs try for three Super Bowls in a row. Brittany Mahomes posted a family photo and a video to her Instagram to announce the sweet family news. She captioned it “Round three, here we come.”

In the video, Sterling, the couple’s oldest, showed off a copy of her mother’s ultrasound. Yes, you can say it. Awww.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are high school sweethearts

The family just returned from an extended trip to Europe. It was the last big family journey before Patrick Mahomes heads to training camp in St. Joseph, Mo. The first practice is July 21.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have been together since 2012, when both were students at Whitehouse High School near Tyler, Texas. Flash forward eight years later. Mahomes now is one of the best players in the NFL. He dropped to a knee in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium to ask his girlfriend to be his wife.

At about the same time, the couple announced that Brittany was pregnant. She came along in February 2021, days after Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs lost to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Sterling is now three. Baby Bronze is one. His full name is Patrick Lavon Mahomes III. But rather than a nickname like Trey, his parents call him Bronze.

It also should be noted that the Mahomes family features two pets, also. The dogs are Steel and Silver. Last month, Brittany told People “I mean, they’re basically our children. I consider us having four kids.”

Now, make that five kids.
